New website

A new website has been launched by Cumbria Magistrates Courts Service to give users information about court services and increase public accountability for the service.

Justices' chief executive Simon Evans said: "The website provides an opportunity to be more transparent about how we operate. We intend to publish details on how quickly we process cases and the amount of delay for witnesses and defendants." Access at www.cumbriamcc.gov.uk
